RESOLUTION NO. R2013-12 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENDING <br /> THE TRANSIT MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH <br /> FIRST TRANSIT, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, the City and First Transit, Inc., entered into an Agreement for transit <br /> management services, effective as of July 1, 2009, with an expiration date of June 30, 2012; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Agreement specifies that"This Agreement may be extended at the sole <br /> discretion of the City for two (2) additional one (1) year terms (option years)"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has exercised the first option year, extending the term of <br /> the Agreement through June 30, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement states that the management fee to be paid to First Transit, <br /> Inc., for services rendered in the second (final) option year shall be $127,440; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to extend the term of the Agreement through June 30, 2014. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
