Anderson Plaza, <br /> Decatur, Illinois, 62523, until 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 9, 2012, and thereafter publicly <br /> opened and read. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: <br /> The proposed improvement is officially known as: <br /> CENTRAL PARK STREETSCAPE AND OPEN SPACE ENHANCEMENT <br /> CITY PROJECT 2012-14 <br /> The proposed project herein specified and described includes the following work: <br /> • Removal and replacement of existing curbs and gutters. <br /> • Removal and replacement of existing pavement and sidewalks. <br /> • Partial removal and replacement of street pavements. <br /> • Removal of trees,plants, and other vegetation. <br /> • Installation of brick paving and special concrete items. <br /> • Installation of concrete steps. <br /> • Installation of seat walls. <br /> • Installation of new storm inlets, storm sewer, and grading modifications. <br /> • Installation of new electric and fiber optic conduit. <br /> • Installation of street and pedestrian lighting with electrical service. <br /> • Installation of pergola structures. <br /> • Installation of drinking fountain and irrigation system. <br /> • Installation of tree grates, flagpoles,bollards,bicycle racks, and railings. <br /> • Installation of trees,planting beds and turf seeding and reinforcement. <br /> • Pavement striping. <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: <br /> 1.
