CONTRACT All costs incurred to repair pipeline if damaged occurs due to vandalism shall be considered an extra to the contract price. If failure occurs due to installation no additional compensation will be paid. SECTION 36. Standby peration This work shall be included in the contract unit price per day for Standby Operation, as marked in Exhibit A. The work shall include the cost to not run the system but to leave the system in place before authorization for de-mobilization and pipe removal. Price shall include all work items necessary to prevent freezing of the pumps and pipeline and to verify the system operational if requested. SECTION 37. Trenching This Trenching work shall be competed and paid for in accordance with Section 109.04 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, current edition, as marked in Exhibit A. The work shall include burying and removing the pipeline under driveways, sidewalks, and Bowshier Ln as described in the Contract Drawings and as directed by the Engineer. The work shall also include installation of temporary and final pavement restoration per City standards. SECTION 38. Alterations Cancellations Extensions Deductions And Extra Work The funds established in this item shall only be used by the City of Decatur in the event alterations, cancellations, extensions, deductions, or extra work on the project is required. All alterations, cancellations, extensions, deductions, or extra work shall be completed and paid for in accordance with Section 104.02 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, current edition, as marked in Exhibit A..
