RESOLUTION NO. R 2012- 151 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, BURDICK PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY, INC. PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE INSTALLATION PROJECT CITY PROJECT 2011-05 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the Contract between Burdick Plumbing&Heating Company, Inc. and the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended to authorize Change Order No. 1 to extend the completion date to December 31, 2012; and a not-to-exceed project cost of$355,218. Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Change Order No. 1,on behalf of the City of Decatur. Section 3. That the changes in the above-described Contract are germane to said Contract, as signed, and such Change Orders are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are authorized by law. Section 4. That the Public Works Director hereby certifies that the additional time for completion was not foreseeable at the time said Contract was bid and let.
