1. Site planning and system configuration of field hardware. <br /> 2. Complete hardware set-up of all system components. <br /> 3. Complete system diagnostics verification. <br /> 4. Complete system operation verification. <br /> 5. Problem reporting and tracking. <br /> 6. Project specific installation log. <br /> 7. Completion of specific DPTS acceptance test plans. <br /> S. Formal turnover of the specific project installation documentation to <br /> DPTS. <br /> B. Equipment Locations <br /> The final location of all equipment shall be coordinated with DPTS prior <br /> to the rough in or installation of any devices. <br /> C. Wiring Methods <br /> Comply with NEC. <br /> D. Conductor Labeling <br /> All SYSTEM wiring shall be labeled on both ends with identification <br /> nomenclature that is consistent with the wiring terminals or devices shown <br /> on the drawings. Labels shall be pre-printed and permanently affixed to <br /> the outer jacket of each cable. <br /> E. As Built Drawings <br /> Drawings used or developed during the installation shall be turned over to <br /> DPTS at the completion of the project. <br /> F. Cleaning and Protection <br /> During installation and prior to final acceptance, clean system components <br /> and provide adequate protection from damage and deterioration. <br /> G. Installation of Products <br /> Comply with manufacturer's instructions and recommendations for <br /> installation of product in the applications indicated. Anchor products <br /> securely in place, accurately located and aligned with other work. <br /> The contractor is responsible to remedy defects due to faulty workmanship <br /> and materials that appear within one year from the date of acceptance in <br /> accordance with the General Conditions, unless specifications sections <br /> specify a different and longer duration. <br /> 2.4 SYSTEM TRAINING <br /> Proposal shall include on site training by a representative of the SYSTEM <br /> manufacturer. Training shall take place before the system is operational and as <br /> needed during the warranty period as requested by DPTS. <br /> Decatur Public Transit System A-9 IP Video System <br />
