Chastain & Associates <br /> 2-22-2012 <br /> Summary <br /> MMA will prepare Contract Documents(CDs)for streetscape components including plans <br /> special provisions,bid items, quantities and cost estimates. Streetscape components are: special <br /> paving, street furnishings,information signs, street trees and other plant material, <br /> MMA will use survey information provided by project engineers Homer Chastain for the <br /> survey base,and the Concept Plan developed in an earlier phase of this project as the basic plan for <br /> the project. <br /> MMA will attend meetings and otherwise coordinate work with project engineers to <br /> successfully complete the project. <br /> MMA is prequalified by IDOT to use the established fee schedule attached. <br /> Project Area <br /> The Project Area includes the street rights-of-way along Franklin Street,from Eldorado Street <br /> south to Wood Street,a distance of five blocks. The project area includes short distances to the east <br /> and west of Franklin along intersecting streets as "tie-ins" with the corridor improvements. <br /> Scope of Services <br /> MMA provide the following services: <br /> 1. Contract Documents(plans,specifications,bid items,quantities and cost estimates) <br /> for Streetscape elements within the project area including the following: <br /> • Special paving (pavers, color or stamped concrete, decorative concrete <br /> scoring) <br /> • Street trees and other plant material <br /> 1 <br />
