RESOLUTION NO. R2012-55 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THE <br /> FRANKLIN STREET PORTION OF THE DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE <br /> AND OPEN SPACE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM <br /> CITY PROJECT 2010-25 <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes the City of Decatur to enter into an Agreement <br /> with the State of Illinois for the Franklin Street Portion of the City's Downtown Streetscape and <br /> Open Space Enhancement Program, City Project 2010-25, Section 10-00025-00-EG; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said design work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of One Hundred Eighty-Three <br /> Thousand, One Hundred Thirteen and no cents ($183,113.00) or so much thereof as may be <br /> necessary, from any money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay the cost of the design <br /> work as described in the Agreement. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to sign, seal and attest said Agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 19`b day of March <br /> i <br /> C L T.
