as determined and directed by the City Manager or as required by this Chapter to make <br /> effective the provisions hereof. <br /> 15. TURNS. Whenever authorized signs are erected indicating that no right, left or "U" turn <br /> is permitted, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of any such sign, and <br /> when authorized marks, buttons, or other indications are placed within an intersection or <br /> within the streets approaching the intersection indicating the course to be traveled by <br /> vehicles turning thereat, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of such <br /> indications. <br /> 16. UNLAWFUL SIGNS OR OBSTRUCTIONS. No person shall place, maintain or <br /> display upon or in view of any street or highway any unauthorized sign, signal, parking <br /> payment device, marking, speed bump or device which purports to be or is an imitation <br /> of or resembles an official traffic-control device or railroad sign or signal, or which <br /> attempts to direct or alter the movement of traffic, nor shall any person place, maintain, <br /> or display upon or in view of any street or highway any other sign which hides from view <br /> or interferes with the movement of traffic or the effectiveness of any traffic-control <br /> device or any railroad sign or signal, and no person shall place or maintain nor shall any <br /> public authority permit upon any street or highway any traffic sign or signal bearing <br /> thereon any commercial advertising. Any such unauthorized device is hereby declared to <br /> be a nuisance, and may be removed by the authorities having control of such street or <br /> highway. <br /> 17. DAMAGE TO SIGNS.
