Excerpts from Plan Commission Minutes of September 6, 2012 continued: <br /> Section XIX.G.2. of the City of Decatur Zoning Ordinance requires the Plan Commission to hold <br /> a public hearing to review the Planned Development plan and report its findings concerning the <br /> effect on the comprehensive plan and compliance with the standards of review to the City <br /> Council. A motion to forward Calendar Number 12-26 to the City Council with a <br /> recommendation for approval is suggested. <br /> Mr. Phil Cochran, representative, was sworn in by Mrs. Poland. <br /> Mr. Cochran stated the proposed memory care facility will have forty (40) units. MCCI of <br /> Decatur, LLC operates fourteen (14) other facilities of this type in northern Illinois. They feel <br /> there is a need for this type of development in the area. The utilities are in the area so they can <br /> be extended to the site. This facility will be adjacent to Primrose. <br /> There were no objectors present and no questions. <br /> It was moved and seconded (John/Frantz) to forward Cal. No. 12-26 to the City Council with <br /> recommendation for approval as presented by staff. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
