ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS <br /> CHAPTER 52 <br /> - ALCHOLIC LIQUOR - <br /> 34. CONSUMPTION OR POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL IN AN OPEN <br /> CONTAINER IN PUBLIC PLACES. <br /> A. Alcoholic liquor shall not be consumed or possessed in an open container at <br /> anytime within the City at, in or on the following places: <br /> (1) The right of way of any public highway, street or alley, except as otherwise <br /> expressly provided in this Code; <br /> (2) Central Park, except as otherwise expressly provided in this Code; <br /> (3) Landmark"�N^'1 The Central Business District, as defined in this Code; <br /> (4) The Street Division and Transit buildings, garages and grounds; <br /> (5) Eithe The South Water Treatment Plant and grounds; or any firehouse. <br /> B. The Council may provide by ordinance for the consumption or possession of <br /> an open container of alcoholic liquor, or the consumption or possession of an open <br /> container of wine and beer only, and provide for the regulation of the manner of such <br /> consumption or possession of an open container, for limited periods of time at, in or on any <br /> or all of, or any portion of, those places listed in Section 34A of this Chapter. <br />
