ORDINANCE NO. 2012- 4 4 <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PARK <br /> - ROCKING IN CENTRAL PARK - <br /> WHEREAS, as written in City Code Chapter 52, Section 8, Temporary Permit, it is the <br /> intention of Macon Temple #793, a local not-for-profit agency to sponsor Rocking In Central <br /> Park and to offer beer and wine for sale to patrons for consumption at each event; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express <br /> approval of the City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the local not-for- <br /> profit agency and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of alcoholic liquor as described <br /> be permitted for said limited time period. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That on the day listed herein, and only on such day, between the hours listed <br /> opposite each, only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be consumed in Central Park <br /> located in downtown Decatur, said days and hours being particularly described as follows: <br /> Saturday, July 21, 2012 11:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m.. Beer and Wine Only <br /> Section 2. That no alcoholic beverage may be consumed as provided herein unless such <br /> alcoholic beverage is in a plastic or paper cup. <br /> Section 3.
