Book: 4350 Page: 750 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2012-38 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 1600 BLOCK OF EAST NORTH STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June, 2012, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Gary Haines to rezone premises legally <br /> described as: <br /> Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Block 4 of E.G. and W.L. Allen's Addition to the <br /> City of Decatur as per plat recorded Book 300 Page 15 of the Records of the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> from R-5 Two Family Residence District to R-6 Multiple Dwelling District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said above described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned R-5 Two <br /> Family Residence District to R-6 Multiple Dwelling District. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those districts set forth and <br /> defined in Ordinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning <br /> Ordinance, and all the provisions, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein set forth <br /> shall apply to the premises above described herein. <br />
