Chapter 34 <br /> The number of violations referred to herein so as to determine the proper <br /> settlement amount shall be the number of violations occurring after May 1, 2012. <br /> The number of violations shall reset to zero (0) after 12 months elapse without a <br /> citation being issued to the same vehicle with the same registration. <br /> C. Citations issued for violation of Sections 38 and 66 C may be settled for the fine <br /> and fee amounts defined in those respective Sections. <br /> D. If not settled as provided in this Section, fine shall be imposed upon conviction, as <br /> elsewhere set out herein. <br /> 74. PARKING RATES AND FEES. The parking rates and fees required by several <br /> sections in this Chapter shall be the amounts established as follows: <br /> Section Title Amount <br /> 47 Temporary Reservation of Parking Space $10.00 per day per space <br /> 54 Pay to Park Spaces $0.25 per hour <br /> 56 A Monthly Charges—uncovered parking $15.00 per month <br /> 56B Monthly Charges— covered parking $25.00 per month <br /> 60 Impoundment of Vehicle—processing fee $35.00 per impoundment <br /> 64 Conference or Convention Parking Permits $3.00 per space per day <br /> 65 B Downtown Resident Parking Permit—Class B $60.00 per month <br /> 66 B Downtown Employee Parking Permit $15.00 per month <br /> The City Manager shall, from time to time, review the parking rates and fees established <br /> in this section and recommend changes for City Council review and approval. <br /> 75. COMPLAINT PROCEDURE. Any person issued a citation for violating any section of <br /> this Chapter, except Section 70, and 71, may appeal the issuance of the citation in writing <br /> within 14 days of the time of the citation unless otherwise designated in the ordinance. <br /> Such written appeal must be received by the Department Director (or his or her designee) <br /> of the Department of the City of Decatur responsible for issuing the citation by said 14th <br />
