Excerpts from Plan Commission Minutes of December 1,2011 continued:
b. If approved by City Council, the Ordinance shall not be signed until a copy of the
recorded deed has been given to the City Clerk showing Professional Management and
Leasing as the owner of the property.
Section XXII.A.2. requires the Plan Commission to hold a public hearing on a conditional use
permit request, and then forward its report and recommendation to the City Council for final
approval. A motion to forward Calendar Number 11-48 to the City Council with a
recommendation for approval is suggested.
Mr. Phil Cochran, representative, stated Professional Management and Leasing is the owner of
Decatur Ambulance and presently operate three (3) facilities in the Decatur area. Decatur
Ambulance identified they needed a location in the northwest part of Decatur to provide services
in the area in a timely manner. This property became available and meets their needs. A
Conditional Use Permit is required to allow for an ambulance service.
There were no questions and no objectors present.
It was moved and seconded (John/Grady) to forward Cal. No. 11-48 to the City Council with
recommendation for approval as presented by staff. Motion carried with Mr. Terry Smith voting
present.
