McElroy and City Council <br /> FROM: Ryan McCrady, City Manager <br /> Billy Tyus, Assistant City Manager <br /> Randy Johner, Building Inspections Manager <br /> SUBJECT: City Code Chapter 67 & 70.1 <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: The Building Inspections Division of Development Services <br /> of Planning and Building would like to recommend approval of changes as presented in <br /> City Code Chapter 67 (Building Code) and City Code Chapter 70.1 (Plumbing Code). <br /> BACKGROUND: On August 15, 2011, changes to these codes were presented to <br /> Council and approved. It was later determined that the documents used when formulating <br /> these changes were not the latest versions. Therefore, we have obtained the latest <br /> versions of these codes and made revisions again as needed. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: All codes and code revisions were reviewed and <br /> approved by the appropriate City Commission. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Randy Johner, Construction Inspections Manager @ 424-2787 <br /> or rjohnergdecaturil.gov. <br />
