CHAPTER 69 ADDITIONS AND <br /> ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> 2. ELECTRICAL CODE. The same having been duly placed and remained on file as <br /> required by law, and subject to the additions, modifications, changes or deletions set out in this <br /> Chapter, the National Electrical Code, 2008— 2011 Edition of the National Fire Protection <br /> Association, the same being found and declared by the Council to be regulations as defined by <br /> applicable statute, is hereby adopted by reference and the same to be known, and which may be <br /> cited, as "The Electrical Code" of the City, and which shall have the scope and applicability as <br /> therein set out, except as modified by the provisions of this Chapter. <br /> 8. FEES REQUIRED. The amount of the fee required to accompany the application for <br /> a permit and to be paid to the City Treasurer shall be determined by the building official as <br /> follows: <br /> A. For all permits other than those specified herein said amount shall be based upon the <br /> value of the proposed work in amounts as follows: <br /> WORK VALUE FEE <br /> $ 0 - $2,000 $2-5 $35 <br /> $2,001 - $3,000 $35 $45 <br /> $3,001 - $5,000 $50 <br /> $5,001 - 1,000,000 $50 plus $5 for each $1,000 or <br /> fraction thereof over$5,000 <br /> Over$1,000,000 $5,025 plus $4 for each $10,000 or <br /> fraction thereof over $1,000,000 <br /> (Amended, Ordinance No. 96-38, June 17, 1996). <br />
