r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2011-46 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> -3710 NORTH GREENSWITCH ROAD - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 4th day of August, 2011, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of George Cogswell to rezone premises <br /> legally described as: <br /> Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township <br /> 17 North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian, beginning at the <br /> Northwest corner of said Section 31, thence South along the West line of the <br /> Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, 394.35 feet to a <br /> beginning point, thence South along the West line 360 feet, thence East <br /> perpendicular to the West line 290 feet, thence North parallel to the West line 360 <br /> feet, thence West perpendicular to the West line 290 feet, to the Point of <br /> Beginning. Situated in Macon County, Illinois, <br /> from M-1 Intense Commercial-Light Industrial District to B-2 Commercial District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said above described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from M- <br /> 1 Intense Commercial-Light Industrial District to B-2 Commercial District. <br />
