McCrady, City Manager <br /> Celeste Harris, City Clerk <br /> SUBJECT: Liquor Consumption on Public Right-of-Way <br /> DATE: June 15, 2011 <br /> The City Council is asked to approve the attached ordinance allowing the consumption <br /> of alcoholic beverages on public right-of-way in Nelson Park during the annual Lakeside Music <br /> and Arts Festival event. <br /> The organizers of this year's event have shifted the scheduled activities from the area <br /> and parking lot adjacent to Lake Patrol and The Beach House to the parking lots below the large <br /> pavilion, some of the golf course, and a portion of Lake Shore Drive. <br />
