McCrady, City Manager <br /> Ron Neufeld, Finance Director <br /> SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 <br /> Attached are nine supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2010-2011, for funding <br /> received or required after passage of the Appropriation Ordinance, approved July 19, <br /> 2010. End of year supplemental appropriations are necessary to take care of many issues <br /> that cannot be foreseen. <br /> • Risk Management - Fund 10—Department 30 —This ordinance appropriates an <br /> additional $3,000 to cover the additional personnel expense not included in the <br /> final budget. <br /> • Planning Fund — Fund 12 — This ordinance appropriates an additional $627,000 <br /> for the Decatur Corridor Monument Installation Project ($150,000), the Decatur <br /> Area Transportation Efficiency Study ($227,000) and demolition of Roach <br /> School ($250,000). The Planning Fund will be reimbursed from DUATS funds <br /> and Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program funds. Money for Roach <br /> School demolition will come from Planning funds. <br /> • Weed & Seed— Fund 24—This ordinance appropriates an additional $4,400 for <br /> operating expenses to cover Weed & Seed expenses. These are pass-through <br /> expenses with funds coming from the Federal Government. <br /> • Justice Administration Grant — This ordinance appropriates an additional <br /> $85,200 for operating expenses related to the Justice Administration Grant. <br /> These are pass-through expenses with funds coming from the Federal <br /> Government. <br /> • 2010 Project Fund — Fund 43 — This ordinance appropriates $24.0 million for <br /> expenses related to the FYI I expenses for dredging Lake Decatur, payoff of <br /> Letters of Credit, prepayment of Reynolds Development agreement, and <br /> engineering expenses related to downtown improvements. <br />
