Caton, Recorder i Book: 4129 Page: 870 Receipt : 37711 Recording Fee: 032.00Page• Recorded: 6 Authorized By: 181 .469 Date Recorded: 3/14/2011 9:32:32 AM ORDINANCE NO. 2011-09 ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY :900 BLOCK OF EAST ELDORADO AND EAST NORTH STREETS - WHEREAS, a request has been received from Lindy Lu, LLC requesting the vacation by the City Council of an alley in the City of Decatur, Illinois legally described as: All of the Sixteen (16) foot wide public alley lying south of and adjacent to the following properties: Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Block 6 of Gatling's Addition as per Plat recorded in Book R, Page 593 of the records in the Recorder's Office, Macon County, Illinois. And The West 8 feet of Lot 4 of Block 6 of Gatling's Addition as per Plat recorded in Book R, Page 593 of the records in the Recorder's Office, Macon County, Illinois. Said Alley Vacation consists of 3,328 square feet, more or less; and, WHEREAS, said alley is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as an alley; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said alley and the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described alley be, and the same is hereby, vacated inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such
