ORDINANCE NO. 2010-71 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - MULTI-TENANT SIGNS AND BUFFER YARDS - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of September, 2010, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing on the petition of Greg C. Crowe, Assistant City Manager, to <br /> modify and amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, the same being Ordinance No. <br /> 3512, as amended, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission did report its findings and did <br /> recommend that said petition be granted and that the Zoning Ordinance be so modified and <br /> amended. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the report and recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, <br /> and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That Section II of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur (Ord. No. 3512 <br /> as amended) be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding a new definition titled "SIGN, <br /> MULTI-TENANT" immediately before the definition of "SIGN, OFF-PREMISE". Said new <br /> definition to provide as follows: <br /> SECTION I1. DEFINITIONS <br /> SIGN, MULTI-TENANT: A sign which identifies a development of three or <br /> more businesses located in the same commercial or industrial center/park. The <br /> businesses may be located on the same parcel or a group of neighboring parcels. <br /> Section 3. That Section XXV.F.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur (Ord. No. <br /> 3512 as amended) be, and the same is hereby, amended and modified by adding a new <br />
