ORDINANCE NO. 2010-70 ORDINANCE GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 2091 NORTH OAKLAND AVENUE - WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of September, 2010, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of John W. Renfro for a conditional use permit under the provisions of Section XXII.A.2 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the operation of a crematory in a B-2 Commercial District on property located in the City of Decatur, Illinois and legally described as follows: Beginning at a point 966.2 feet East of the Northwest Corner and on the North line of Lot 2 of a survey for Jessie Senton Taylor, as per plat recorded in Book 335, Page 125 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence deflecting at an angle to the right of 91°22'03", a distance of 178.14 feet; thence deflecting at an angle to the right of 88022'16", a distance of 96.59 feet; thence deflecting at an angle to the right of 1696'11", a distance of 175.98 feet; thence deflecting at an angle to the right of 73°59'30", a distance of 130.00 feet; to the North line of said Lot 2; thence East along the said North line of Lot 2, 270.00 feet to the point of beginning, said property containing 1.0 acres, more or less; and, WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that such conditional use permit be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the recommendation and report of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and granted.
