t ORDINANCE NO. 2010-66 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY LINCOLN SQUARE THEATRE AND ROBBIE'S WHEREAS, the Lincoln Square Theatre and Robbie's has planned a social event for Saturday, September 18, 2010; and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Lincoln Square Theatre and Robbie's to offer alcoholic liquor for sale to its patrons for consumption at this event; and, WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor on Merchant Street requires the express approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the Lincoln Square Theatre, Robbie's, and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of alcoholic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., alcoholic beverages may be consumed on Merchant Street between East Prairie and East Main Streets in downtown Decatur.
