McCrady, City Manager Ron Neufeld, Finance Director SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriations f Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Attached are eleven supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2009-2010, for funding received or required after passage of the Appropriation Ordinance, approved July 20, 2009. End of year supplemental appropriations are necessary to take care of many issues that cannot be foreseen. • One Main Place — Fund 15 — This ordinance appropriates an additional $109 to transfer the fund balance to the Debt Service Fund. • Wabash Crossing TIF — Fund 21 - This ordinance appropriates an additional $115,000 to operating expenses to be used to reimburse other taxing districts and the balance to be transferred to the General Fund to reimburse for debt service paid. • Eastgate TIF — Fund 23 — This ordinance appropriates $12,000 for operating expenses to cover the additional funds to developer resulting from higher property taxes and sales taxes received. • Weed & Seed — Fund 24 — This ordinance appropriates an additional $50,000 for operating expenses to cover Weed & Seed expenses. These are pass-through expenses with funds coming from the Federal Government. • Radio Communications — Fund 30 - This ordinance appropriates $150,000 for expenses related to the Starcom Radio System. Money to come from other users of Starcom radios as well as the General Fund. • Wabash Crossing LOC - Fund 49 — This ordinance appropriates $250,000 for operating expenses to cover the cost design and infrastructure improvements for Wabash Crossing phase III. Money came from increase in Letter of Credit approved by City Council on May 4, 2009.
