r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2009-92 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 901 NORTH MAIN STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of December, 2009, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Grace United Methodist Church, to <br /> rezone premises legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof <br /> from R-6 Multiple Dwelling District and 0-1 Office District to PD Planned Development <br /> District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That upon the conditions set forth below, said premises described in Exhibit A <br /> be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-6 Multiple Dwelling District and 0-1 Office District, to <br /> PD Planned Development District: <br /> 1. Landscaping: Ten (10) evergreen shrubs will be required to be planted <br /> around the base of the sign. The trees shall be two (2) feet in height at the time of <br /> planting. <br /> 2. A sign permit will be required before the sign can be erected. <br /> 3. Site, landscaping and lighting plans shall be submitted to the Plan <br /> Commission for public hearing and approved by the City Council prior to any <br /> development. <br />
