ORDINANCE NO. 2009-63 <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PARK <br /> ARTS IN CENTRAL PARK PREVIEW PARTY <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur Area Arts Council, Gallery 510 Arts Guild, Ltd., and City <br /> Centre Decatur has planned its annual "Arts In Central Park" event with its Preview Party <br /> scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2009; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Decatur Area Arts Council, Gallery 510 Arts Guild, <br /> Ltd., and City Centre Decatur to offer beer and wine to its patrons for consumption at this event; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express <br /> approval of the City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the Decatur Area <br /> Arts Council, Gallery 510 Arts Guild, Ltd., City Centre Decatur, and the City of Decatur that <br /> such consumption of alcoholic liquor as described be permitted for said limited time period. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That on the day listed herein, and only on such day, between the hours listed, <br /> only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be consumed in Central Park located in <br /> downtown Decatur, said day and hours being particularly described as follows: <br /> Friday, September 18 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only <br />
