ORDINANCE NO. 2009-38 ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE - URBAN CORRIDORS- - FENCES- - FENCES- - NON-CONFORMING USES - WHEREAS, on the 7th day of May, 2009, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing on the petition of Greg C. Crowe, Assistant City Manager, to modify and amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, the same being Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission did report its findings and did recommend that said petition be granted and that the Zoning Ordinance be so modified and amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the report and recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2. That Section II of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur (Ord. No. 3512 as amended) be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding a new definition titled "Urban Corridors" immediately before the definition of "Use". Said new definition to provide as follows: SECTION Il. DEFINITIONS URBAN CORRIDORS: The public streets consisting of U.S. Route 51, U.S. Route 36, Illinois Route 48, Illinois Route 105 and Illinois Route 121 located within the city limits of Decatur. Section 3. That Section XXI C 3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur (Ord. No. 3512 as amended) be, and the same is hereby, amended and modified so that said Section XXI C 3 as so modified and amended shall provide as follows:
