i <br /> 3. Fences may be located on the property line provided that any post or other <br /> stabilizing apparatus shall be located within the property lines of the owner <br /> of the fence and shall have the finished side facing outward towards the <br /> public. <br /> 4. No fence exceeding four (4) feet in height, measured from surrounding <br /> grade to the highest point on the fence, shall be constructed or erected in the <br /> front yard, including any front yard beyond the required front yard setback. <br /> 5. The location of the front door or entrance of a home or main structure shall <br /> determine the front yard for purposes of constructing or erecting a fence in a <br /> residential district. <br /> 6. No fence exceeding six (6) feet in height, measured from surrounding grade <br /> to the highest point on the fence, shall be constructed or erected in any rear <br /> or side yard. Excepting side or rear yards adjacent to an R-6, 0-1, B-1, B-2, <br /> B-3, M-1, M-2, M-3, PD, and PMR Districts which may be built to a height <br /> up to eight (8) feet. <br /> D. FENCES IN OFFICE AND COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS <br /> 1. Regulations in this subsection shall apply to the 0-1, B-1, B-2 and B-4 <br /> zoning districts. <br /> 2. Fences may be located on the property line provided that any post or other <br /> stabilizing apparatus shall be located within the property lines of the owner <br /> of the fence and shall have the finished side facing outward towards the <br /> public. <br /> 3. A fifteen (15) foot front yard setback shall be required for all fences in this <br /> subsection except those fences located in the B-4 District. <br /> 4. The location of the front door or main entrance of a business or main <br /> structure shall determine the front yard for purposes of constructing or <br /> erecting a fence in an office or commercial district. Any remaining front <br /> yards, now classified as a side or rear yard for purposes of erecting a fence, <br /> which are located across the street from a residential district or use, there <br /> shall be a required evergreen landscaping screen. This evergreen <br /> landscaping screen shall be six (6) feet in height at time of planting and shall <br /> be located between the fence and the property line. <br /> E. FENCES IN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS <br /> 1. Regulations in this subsection shall apply to the M-1 and M-2 zoning <br /> districts. <br /> 2. Barbed wire, razor wire, electrical fencing, spiked railing or any guard or <br /> barricade to which there is attached any pointed instrument, device or thing <br /> of any kind or description, designed, intended or liable to injure any person <br />
