RESOLUTION NO. R2011-206 <br /> RESOLUTION D T <br /> U ON ESIGNATING HONORARY STREET <br /> - ROACH SCHOOL — <br /> WHEREAS, that on August 17, 2009 the City Council approved an Honorary Street Sign <br /> Program for the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the designation of an Honorary Street Sign shall be limited to individuals, <br /> organizations, entities and events of local significance to the City of Decatur as determined by <br /> the City Council. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council hereby designates the 1900 Block of East William <br /> Street between North 19th Street and North 201h Street in honor of former Roach School students <br /> and school district employees for a period not to exceed ten (10) years from the date of this <br /> resolution. <br /> Section 2. That the City of Decatur shall be responsible for the cost of the production and <br /> installation of the Honorary Street Sign. <br /> Section 3. That the cost shall be paid by the City of Decatur prior to and as a condition of <br /> production and installation of the Honorary Street Sign. <br /> Section 4.
