The agreement includes 228 estimated hours of implementation services, which
is based on Tyler's experiences in over 700 installations performed to date. The City
will be billed for actual time.
This system will reduce the duplication of data entry that is now required within
the various code enforcing departments, produce pleadings, manage payments, track
court orders and allow payments on line for those violations that allow such.
This software was designed nearly two decades ago and is specifically designed
for municipal courts. It is being used in over 750 municipalities of varying populations.
Staff has had extensive discussions with Tyler with this Agreement being the result of
those discussions. Staff recommends approval.
City staff will be available to answer any questions Council may have. If you
have questions or want to discuss, please contact Ryan McCrady, City Manager at
424.2801 or Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel at 424.2807.
Attachment
cc: John Robinson
Amy Waks
Mike Frazier
