Sunset <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Don Roderick, <br /> Inc. to remove asbestos if required, do necessary plumbing and demolish the property at 1051 W. <br /> Sunset. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is a court ordered demolition. Macon County as Trustee is the owner <br /> of the property. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Neighborhood Services requested the demolition. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Billy Tyus, Assistant City Manager for Development Services, 424- <br /> 2727. Dave Griffiths, Neighborhood Inspections Administrator, 424-2794. Billy and/or Dave <br /> will be at the council meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $5,700.00 from the Community Development Block Grant. <br />
