Exhibit A
the Project Report. Potential impacts to floodplain, floodways, and water quality will be assessed
based on the proposed improvements. Based on the assessment of surface water bodies within the
project limits and potential water quality concerns, documentation summarizing this data will be
included in the Project Report.
5. Prepare an Air Quality section of the project report. Since this is a grade crossing safety
improvement and therefore exempt from conformity requirements, a Microscale Analysis is assumed
to not be required.
6. Prepare the Cultural Resources section of the project report. Information obtained from field surveys
and from the Environmental Survey Request will be used in evaluating potential impacts of an
overpass at Faries Parkway on cultural resources.
7. Evaluate 4(f) impacts. In the event that 4(f)lands are identified within the extended project limits,
URS will prepare the 4(f)evaluation consisting of the following items:
A. Description of Proposed Action,
B. Description of Section 4(f)Property(ies),
C. Impacts on the Section 4(f)Property(ies),
D. Avoidance Alternatives,
E. Measures to Minimize Harm
F. Section 4(f)Coordination.
8. URS will evaluate potential special waste sites. A Preliminary Environmental Site Assessment
(DESA)will be prepared.
Task 00800—Public Involvement
Tasks required for public involvement were identified in the original scope. URS will conduct two(2)
additional public meetings. The first meeting will be held to present the proposed improvements at the
William Street/Brush College Road intersection. This meeting could be limited to businesses that will be
impacted by the changes. It is anticipated that this meeting will be an open house format and may include a
presentation.
The second public meeting will be held to present the proposed changes to the intersection at Faries
Parkway. It is anticipated that this meeting will be an open house format and may include a presentation. The
following tasks shall be performed for each meeting:
1. Hold Public Meeting
5. Collect and summarize feedback from Public Meeting
6.
