RESOLUTION NO. R2011-155 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER TO AGREEMENT WITH <br /> HOMER L. CHASTAIN & ASSOCIATES, LLP., FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN <br /> SERVICES FOR THE STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SOUTH MAIN STREET <br /> AND SOUTH FRANKLIN STREET AS PART OF THE JURSISDICTIONAL <br /> TRANSFER OF NORTH AND SOUTH US ROUTE 51 BUSINESS, <br /> CITY PROJECT 2010-13 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the agreement between Homer L. Chastain & Associates, LLP. <br /> and the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby modified to authorize a Change Order <br /> for an additional cost of$29,657, for a total amount not to exceed $131,431.00. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to execute such <br /> Change Order as is necessary to effect the intent hereof. <br /> Section 3. That the changes in the above-described agreements are germane to <br /> said agreement, as signed, and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur <br /> and are authorized by law. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of October, 2011. <br /> �, rl <br /> tMAEL T.
