DEVELOPMENT SERVICES MEMORANDUM <br /> No. 11-43 <br /> August 31, 2011 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor Michael T. McElroy and City Council <br /> FROM: Ryan P. Irons, Director of Neighborhood Services <br /> SUBJECT: Sub recipient Agreement for CONO <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached sub recipient <br /> agreement with the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations (CONO) for neighborhood <br /> related activities. The amount allocated is $7,000 along with$6,216 in carryover. The <br /> agreement will expire August 31, 2011. Activities include but are not limited to: <br /> Neighborhood grants,National Night Out activities, room rental for monthly meetings, <br /> website development and maintenance, marketing and reusable banners for participating <br /> neighborhood groups. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Neighborhood Outreach Division has prepared a sub recipient <br /> agreement which will provide funds for CONO neighborhood activities. Copies of the <br /> agreement are attached for your review. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Additional questions can be forwarded to Richelle D. Irons at <br /> 424.2864 or Rironsgdecaturil.gov. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: Funding is allocated from the CDBG Fund. <br />
