RESOLUTION NO. R2011-111 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION GRANT APPLICATION AND MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING - BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE - BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the grant application presented to the Council herewith for the 2011 Justice Administration Grant (JAG) through the Bureau of Justice Assistance for a grant application regarding enforcement resources on criminal offenders committing disproportionate amount of crime, purchase of Taser cartridges, overtime hire-back for Anti-Crime Unit and Bike and Foot Patrols be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2. That the Intergovernmental Agreement presented to the City Council between the City of Decatur and the County of Macon regarding disbursement of JAG grant funds be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign said grant agreement on behalf of the City and, furthermore, said officers are authorized to sign, seal, and attest said Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Decatur and County of Macon.
