McCrady, City Manager <br /> Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel <br /> RE: Prevailing Wage Rate <br /> The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act requires each city to determine the prevailing wages for <br /> public works in its jurisdiction each June. The rates will then be in effect for all public works <br /> projects for that city for the next twelve (12) months unless the rates are changed by the State. <br /> The State of Illinois will make that determination, and the City may then adopt its findings, <br /> which Decatur has traditionally done. The accompanying resolution adopts the State's findings <br /> on this matter, and Staff recommends approval of this annual item. <br />
