McElroy and City Council <br /> FROM: Ryan McCrady, City Manager <br /> Billy Tyus, Assistant City Manager <br /> Randy Johner, Building Inspections Manager <br /> SUBJECT: City Code Chapter 69 <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: The Building Inspections Division of Development Services <br /> of Planning and Building would like to recommend receiving and filing of the 2011 <br /> National Electrical Code. <br /> BACKGROUND: This code is used as the model code for plan review and inspection <br /> of any new electrical work. We currently use the 2009 version of the same code. <br /> Revisions to the code will be presented after thirty day waiting period. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None we are aware of <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The City Electrical Commission has unanimously <br /> recommended adoption of this code. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Randy Johner, Construction Inspections Manager @ 424-2787 <br /> or riohnergdecaturil.gov. <br />
