Perry, Purchasing Supervisor6v <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for ammunition <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contracts to the low bidders <br /> listed on Exhibit A for each of the types of ammunition. <br /> BACKGROUND: The ammunition is used by the Police Department for range practice as well as <br /> duty ammunition. State law requires all police officers and auxiliary officers to qualify for mandated <br /> annual fire arms training. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The Police Department requested the ammunition and <br /> recommend approval of the bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Todd Walker, Police Chief, 424-2745. Jon Thomas, Police Lieutenant, 424- <br /> 2740. Todd will be at the council meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this <br /> purchase. <br /> BUDGET: General fund. <br />
