8. Upon final field inspection of the improvement and so long as IL 105 and US 51 are used <br /> as a State Highways, the STATE agrees to maintain or cause to be maintained the items <br /> described in the aforementioned agreement and other agreements in force at the time of <br /> execution of this agreement. <br /> 9. Upon final field inspection of the improvement, the CITY agrees to maintain or cause to <br /> be maintained items not maintained by the STATE. <br /> 10. The CITY also agrees to maintain the storm sewer and appurtenances installed as part <br /> of this improvement <br /> 11. The STATE agrees to provide written approval via the permit process, of that portion of <br /> the plans and specifications relative to the STATE'S financial and maintenance <br /> obligations described herein, prior to the CITY'S commencement of work on the <br /> proposed improvement, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit C and made a part of this <br /> agreement. <br /> 12.
