Project Labor Agreement Between The Decatur Building & Construction Trades Council,AFL-CIO, Mid-Central Illinois Regional Council of Carpenters, International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Chauffeurs Local #279 and City of Decatur, Illinois for the Downtown Streetscape Project and Rehabilitation of Main & Franklin Streets From Cleveland to Wood Streets ARTICLE I PURPOSE This Agreement is entered into the last date written below, by and between the City of Decatur, its successors or assigns and the Decatur Building & Construction Trades Council (DBCTC), Mid-Central Illinois Regional Council of Carpenters, and International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Chauffeurs Local #279 acting on their own behalf and on behalf of their respective affiliates and members whose names are subscribed hereto and who have, through their duly authorized officers, executed this Agreement, hereinafter collectively called the "Union" or "Unions", with respect to the construction of the Downtown Streetscape Project and the Rehabilitation of Main and Franklin Streets from Cleveland to Wood Streets in Decatur, Illinois, hereinafter"Projects". The term "Contractor" or "Contractors" shall include all construction contractors and subcontractors of whatever tier engaged in onsite construction work within the scope of this Agreement, including the Project Contractor, when it performs construction work within the scope of this Agreement. Where specific reference to City of Decatur, Illinois, alone is intended, the term"Project Contractor" is used. The Parties to this Project Labor Agreement acknowledge that the construction of these Projects, in Decatur, Illinois is important to the development of the City of Decatur. The Parties recognize the need for the timely completion of the projects without interruption or delay. This Agreement is intended to Page 2 of 16
