Crowe, Assistant City Manager <br /> Randy Johner, Building Inspections Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Chapters 67 and 68 City Code <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: The Building Inspections Division of Development Services <br /> of Planning and Building would like to recommend receiving and filing of the 2009 <br /> versions of the International Building, Mechanical, and Fuel gas codes. As required, these <br /> codes would be on file for thirty days until recommendation for adoption is made. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Building Inspection Division uses these model codes as a <br /> guideline when performing plan reviews or inspections of new construction projects. <br /> Following the 30 day period, the applicable code chapters will be amended for council <br /> approval <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None we are aware of <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The 2009 International Building Code was <br /> reviewed by the Construction and Housing Board of Appeals and the 2009 Mechanical <br /> and Fuel Gas Codes were reviewed by the Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration <br /> Commission.
