RESOLUTION NO. R2010-173 <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING HONORARY STREET <br /> -PATROL OFFICER ROBIN VOGEL— <br /> WHEREAS, that on August 17, 2009 the City Council approved an Honorary Street Sign <br /> Program for the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the designation of an Honorary Street Sign shall be limited to individuals, <br /> organizations, entities and events of local significance to the City of Decatur as determined by <br /> the City Council. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council hereby designates the intersection of Pershing Road and <br /> North Main Street in honor of Patrol Officer Robin Vogel for a period not to exceed ten (10) <br /> years from the date of this resolution. <br /> Section 2. That the Police Benevolent and Protective Association of the Decatur Police <br /> Department shall be responsible for the cost of the production and installation of the Honorary <br /> Str�,et Sign. <br /> Section 3. That the cost shall be paid by the Police Benevolent and Protective <br /> Association prior to and as a condition of production and installation of the Honorary Street <br /> Sign. <br /> Section 4. That the City shall have the right to remove said Honorary Street Sign at its <br /> discretion. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 20`h day of September, 2010. <br /> , � <br /> � MI HA .
