Perry, Purchasing Supervisorc�'� <br /> SUBJECT: Clarify and amend resolution <br /> At the July 6, 2010 meeting City Council approved the purchase of two mowing tractors for the <br /> Forestry Division. The original memo explained that the State of Illinois bid for mowing tractors <br /> was awarded to John Deere Company. The City is allowed to purchase the mowers from the <br /> agreement, and as such, the local dealer submitting the bid is Sloan Implement Company. <br /> However, the purchase order for governmental accounts is submitted directly to John Deere <br /> Company in Cary,North Carolina. <br /> The original resolution was between the City of Decatur and John Deere Company. Corporation <br /> Council has requested the resolution be amended. <br />
