RESOLUTION NO. R2010-142 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING <br />, THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR <br /> CDBG-R SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 2010-22 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2010-22, CDBG-R <br /> Sidewalk Replacement Project be, and they are hereby, received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Christy-Foltz, Inc., be accepted and a contract awarded <br /> accordingly and that said contract between Christy-Foltz, Inc. and the City of Decatur be, and <br /> it is hereby modified, so that as modified, said contract authorizes a Contingency in an <br /> amount not to exceed $119,038 for a total contract amount not to exceed $405,168.00. <br /> Section 3. That the changes in the above-described agreements are germane to said <br /> contract, as signed, and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are <br /> authorized by law. <br /> Section 4. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Christy-Foltz, Inc., <br /> for said plan for their bid price of$286,130 plus contingencies in the amount of$119,038 for <br /> a total not to exceed cost of$405,168.00. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 2010. <br /> �� <br /> CHAE T.
