Exhibit A <br /> H. Document Alternative Transportation Impacts -URS will document potential impacts <br /> related to non-motorized and public transportation for each of the grade separation design <br /> concepts. Potential mitigation or other accommodations will be documented if needed. <br /> I. Document Traffic Results -URS will develop a traffic analysis memo that will summarize <br /> the data collection, existing conditions,future year condirions,and the alternatives analysis. <br /> The memo will include a discussion of non-motorized and public transportation impacts and <br /> will take a complete streets approach to discussing the various transportation improvements. <br /> 3. Prepare Intersection Design Studies—URS will perform an intersection design study and develop an <br /> intersection layout for a potential intersection at the ADM Research Center Entrance. An IDS and <br /> intersection layout will not be prepared far the Faries Parkway or the William Street intersections. <br /> Task 00300—Location Drainage Studv <br /> A limited location drainage study will address drainage-related elements required for constructing a grade <br /> separation at the NS crossing. The scope of the drainage study will include identifying the existing drainage <br /> system and developing a conceptual drainage scheme far both a roadway underpass and overpass at the NS <br /> yard. No hydraulic analysis, storm sewer outlet evaluation, or stormwater detention will be performed. A <br /> preliminary analysis will be made to determine if a pump station will be required for the underpass option. <br /> 1. Plans will be developed for the existing drainage system in accordance with the IDOT Drainage <br /> Manual. URS will determine the existing drainage system, identify drainage patterns and drainage <br /> features, structures, and document any existing drainage problems. This wark will include: <br /> A. Preparing an Existing Drainage Plan. Information from survey work and available plans <br /> from previously constructed improvements within the project's limits will be incorporated <br /> into the existing drainage plan. <br /> B. Evaluating and documenting any existing drainage problems. <br /> C. Identifying Base Floodplains <br /> D. Identifying Major Drainage Features <br /> 2. Conceptual drainage provisions far both roadway underpass and overpass alternatives will be <br /> formulated. Proposed solutions to any identified existing drainage problems will be developed. The <br /> following drainage-related tasks will be performed for both a roadway underpass and overpass of the <br /> NS yard: <br /> A. Develop Drainage Design Criteria <br /> B. Evaluate impacts on right-of-way for proposed drainage system elements. <br /> C. Develop conceptual drainage alternatives details for underpass and overpass alternatives. <br /> Drainage elements may consist of a fully enclosed system or a combination of ditches and <br /> storm sewers.The proposed drainage plan will show key design elements and the layout of <br /> the drainage system. <br /> D. Prepare Drainage Study Exhibits. <br /> 3. For the roadway underpass alternative, a preliminary evaluation will be made to determine if a pump <br /> station will be required. <br /> Scope 6-4-10 A-7 <br />
