A more detailed scope of work is included in the attached <br /> Engineering Services Agreement. <br /> IDOT FLTNDING: <br /> The City of Decatur has requested funds for the design and construction of a project that would <br /> remedy the traffic bottle neck at the Brush College underpass for several years. The latest request <br /> occurred in Apri12009. In October 2009, the City was notified by IDOT that $1.SM was allocated <br /> for the preliminary design for this project through Illinois Jobs Now, part of the Illinois Capital <br /> Bill. <br /> The funds can be used for preliminary study and design, as well as, utility relocation. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: URS Corporation, TranSystems, Bowman, Barrett& <br /> Associates, Inc., and Homer L. Chastain& Associates, LLP <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Director of Public Works, Matthew Newell, City <br /> Engineer and Mary Cave, Civil Engineer II.
