Mr. Keith Alexander, City of Decatur—May 10,2010—Page 3 �', <br /> sound resource management and (2) to foster improved mutual understanding and cooperation li <br /> among urban and rural watershed stakeholders. i <br /> AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT I <br /> Upon acceptance by the City, this letter sha11 constitute an agreement between the City of <br /> Decatur and the Agricultural Watershed Institute. <br /> The City agrees to provide $20,000 in financial support to AWI during the period from May <br /> 2010 through Apri12011. Twelve monthly payments of$1,666.66 each will be made by the City <br /> beginning in May 2010. This agreement may be terminated by either party provided that 5 <br /> calendar days written notice has been received by the other party. <br /> During the term of this agreement AWI agrees to maintain the insurance coverages stated in the <br /> attached Certificate of Liability Insurance and name the City of Decatur as an additional insured <br /> on all such coverages. <br /> AWI agrees to perform work as described herein. AWI further agrees to meet at least twice <br /> during the term of this agreement with Keith Alexander(and/or other representa.tives that may be <br /> designated by the City) to review AWI research and educational activities and discuss future <br /> directions and City priorities. Quarterly progress reports including financial summaries will be <br /> submitted to the City no later than 15 business days after July 31, October 31, and January 31. <br /> An annual report including an annual financial summary will be submitted to the City no later ' <br /> than 15 business days following Apri130.
