Crowe, Assistant City Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Agreement to Reimburse South Water Street, LLC. for ADA Accessible Ramp <br /> Improvements to the Millikin Building <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution authorizing the <br /> Mayor to sign the attached Agreement to reimburse South Water Street, LLC. up to $13,000 from the <br /> Olde Towne TIF Fund for the installation of an ADA Accessible Ramp on the East side of the <br /> Millikin Building. <br /> BACKGROUND: South Water Street, LLC. needs to install an ADA Accessible Ramp to the East <br /> side of the Millikin Building because of its new tenant Sikich, LLP that has some clients that need <br /> access to a Ramp. By leasing space in the Millikin Building, Sikick LLP will retain 35 full time jobs <br /> in Downtown Decatur. City staff feels this project is a good use of TIF Funds because of the <br /> retention of jobs and filling of vacant space in Downtown Decatur. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: N/A <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Any additional questions may be forwarded to Greg Crowe at 424-2727 or <br /> at gcrowe@decaturil.gov. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: Olde Towne TIF Funds will be used to reimburse South <br /> Water Street, LLC. for the installation of an ADA Ramp. <br />
