Bauer, Assistant City Manager or dministration� � <br /> Randy Aldrich, Manager, MIS Division <br /> SUBJECT: Annual Software Support and License Agreement, ESRI Software <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council approve the attached <br /> resolution, authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with ESRI Inc. for software <br /> license renewal and support services for Fiscal Year 2010-2011, for the application software <br /> underlying the city's Geographic Information System (GIS system). <br /> BACKGROUND: This is the annual support agreement between the City of Decatur and ESRI <br /> Software for licensed use of the integrated software system that supports the GIS software <br /> system for the city's Internet site (Decatur Digital Atlas) and within all City Departments. The <br /> attached agreement provides for continued use of the ESRI software systems, with standard <br /> support services for the upcoming fiscal year. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTORS: None anticipated. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Brad Boesdorfer, Senior Systems Analyst, MIS (450-2218) <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: The $17,200 charge is in accord with the original purchase <br /> agreement approved by Council and approved FY2010-11 budget. It will be paid from the MIS <br /> Fund, reimbursed on a pro rata basis from other funds. <br /> 1 Attachment <br />
