Neufeld, Finance Director � <br /> SUBJECT: Emphasys Treasury Management Software <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Council approve the attached resolution, which <br /> authorizes the City Manager to sign a lease agreement for Emphasys Treasury Desktop <br /> Software, at an amount not to exceed $8,136. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Desktop is an all-in-one investment management system that provides the City of Decatur <br /> with a single interface to manage our investment portfolio and at the same time provide <br /> investment accounting and record keeping, creates standard and custom reports, and <br /> interfaces with our general ledger. We have been using this software for many years and <br /> we are quite satisfied with it. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this <br /> resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCES: Ron Neufeld, Finance Director-424-2702 <br /> The Finance Director, Ron Neufeld will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to <br /> answer any questions of the City Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> The money for this software was included in the budget for the current fiscal year, which <br /> was approved by the City Council. <br />
